After 28 years of breeding different types of parrot like birds I have found that the Cockatiels are my favorites of all. From the day's in the 1970's when all the lutino's were bald and Cinnamons were more gray then brown. Along with the pearls and pied being HIGH PRICED and hard to get. I have always and still do hold them as my greatest love of the bird world. Now it seems that anyone can breed and raise tiels. Be it from the increase in knowledge of their habits and needs to the better diets( seed or pellets). And lets not for get the Vets. their experimentation and discoveries in avian medicine has helped us breeders keep our birds in the best condition for breeding and long life, which is the stuff success is made of. With all this in mind the most important thing to keep in mind is Concatenate. With out a routine that is comfortable for you and your birds.
